Woman's Day

Every year as the woman's day approaches, I sit and wonder. What is special about this day. Why do we feel the need to celebrate it.
What is it that we do on this day that we don't in remaining 364 days of the year.
It just comes and goes like every other day.

Then is not everyday woman's day and every woman special??

She is the one who is the pillar of strength for her family. The connecting link between the husband and her in-laws, between her husband and her kids.
She is the one who needs to maintain a balance in every relationship.

The one who has to manage both home and office. And yet is expected to be cheerful and always willing to do anything and everything thats expected out of her.

How many men realize how stressed the women in their life are whether its their wife or their mother.
And how hard they are working for just few words of appreciation from their family, and to be loved and not judged in everything they do.

And what different do our husband or kids do for us on this so called woman's day.

I am still wondering. Are you??

Why do I want to blog

As I am sitting in my bedroom all cozy I ask myself why do I want to blog?
And here I realize it's more like giving window to my own thoughts. Its more like speaking to myself and speaking out loud.

 At the end of the day we all want to share our thoughts with someone. Want to get their views and some times just want people to listen to us without judging.

But today's life is so busy. Nobody has time for anyone. Everyone is knee deep in his own problems.
People find it an annoyance to listen to somebody's chatter. They feel its a waste of time if the issues don't concern them.

So what do we do. People like me. Who inspite of having a tiring day want to speak, want to share. We blog.

Is there any better way than this??

And here I am just finishing my first blog.

Sure its not great. But this is what I feel. And this is how I feel.
